The Steel City Ice Renegades are accepting registrations for 8U (2016 birth year and younger) players.  Registration is open all season.  It is never too late to sign up!  We will be fielding Red | White | Blue level teams for the 2024 - 2025 season.

The 8U level is divided in to 2 practice groups based on skill level. Following the USA Hockey ADM model, we have 3 levels, Blue (beginner), White (Intermediate) and Red (Advanced).

PRACTICE WILL BE TWICE PER WEEK

Within the groups, teams will be broken out for Jamborees, which are a series of games over an hour played on weekends.  Each team can expect around 12 Jamborees in the season as well as 3-4 tournaments (also on weekends).  There will be little to no travel for tournaments and Jamborees will be in the Pittsburgh area.

New players will be evaluated during practices and assigned to the correct practice group and jamboree team.
